Current Planning Applications
Cornwall Council is the Local Planning Authority responsible for deciding all planning applications within the Parish. However, the Parish Council is asked to provide consultee comments on each application. To do this, the Parish Council discusses these applications at the regular monthly Parish Council meetings.
The Planning Committee is currently reviewing the applications listed below and welcomes comments from neighbours or members of the public with an interest. Comments can be submitted via email to the Parish Clerk, clerk@gwennap-pc.gov.uk
For applications on the agenda for the Parish Council Meeting, you are invited to attend and speak during the ‘public participation’ segment at the start of the meeting. Please note that this section is limited to 20 minutes. While each speaker is usually given 3 minutes, if many people wish to speak, the time will be divided accordingly, which may reduce your speaking time. Comments will only be accepted during this segment, so please be sure to attend if you wish to speak. If you cannot attend but still wish to have your comments considered, please email them to the Parish Clerk.
Please note: Any comments made to the Parish Council should also be submitted directly to Cornwall Council, as they are the authority responsible for determining the application. Instructions on how to do this can be found here: How to respond to planning applications – Cornwall Council. The Parish Council only provides consultee comments; Cornwall Council’s will make the final decision on each application.
